Our big girl turned 14!

Can you believe it?!?! We have a 14 year old! She had a bit of a bumpy ride as we had a coronavirus scare and she had to miss school on her birthday until we had a negative test. But we did test negative, and were able to have a few friends over for an outdoor, keep-your-distance birthday party.

The kiddos set up the yard for fun and relaxing.

They played corn hole, badminton, soccer, and volleyball.

And they had hot dogs, chips, salad and juice to go with the chocolate chip cookie cake.

For her birthday this year, Charlie asked to get her ears pierced. It took a while to make an appointment, but we did finally get into a tattoo shop to get the dded done.

Happy birthday kiddo!

We love this girl so much! She is kind, sensitive, and very responsible. She went back to Junior High this year, after homeschooling last year, and has been doing an amazing job and is succeeding in all of her classes. She especially loves art and creative writing and is learning new ways to develop her talents. We're so proud of her integrity and determination.
