It's not blog apathy, really
SO MUCH has happened since I last blogged! And I have thought many times that I needed to sit down and record it all, but then I'd feel overwhelmed and just not do it. But TODAY is the day! In February I got a job! I'm working for FamilySearch as a metadata specialist, and it is my first "real job" in about 14 years. And I get to go to work in this beautiful building, or at least I did briefly. I started the beginning of March, just as the coronavirus pandemic really started to unfold in the US. After only two weeks at work, everyone was told to work from home. All of the kids were also sent home from school to do schoolwork remotely. Even churches and stores (except for necessities) were closed. It's been a weird, weird time. Shortly after that, Dad was also sent home from work, and I made the two of us these handy, dandy face masks for our rare trips to the grocery store.
